She was a pupil of Lydia Pavlova (former soloist at the Maryinsky Imperial Theater in St. Petersburg). In France she participated in summer studies with some of the worlds gretest teachers: Olga Preobrajenska, Mathilda Kseshinska, Alicia Nikitina...
In Europe, her professional engagements include the Belgian Royal Ballet. In the USA she extended her studies with André Eglevsky, Kaleria Fedicheva, Vladimir Dokoudovsky...She worked in diverse styles. She has been performing, teaching
and staging ballets for various schools and companies in New York City and Long Island: Stony Brook University, Suffolk Community College, Fedicheva Ballet in Sea Cliff, the Neubert Ballet in Carnegie Hall, Eglevsky School of Ballet, Usdan Center ...
Her academic credits include two baccalaureates from the Lycee Francais de New York, a BA in French and Russian Literature from Hunter College and post graduate studies in Theater and Film at C.W.Post College.
In 1995, Svetlana Caton-Noble and Venti Petrov founded the Lumiere Ballet a Not-For-Profit Arts Organization to offer classical training to talented young dancers on Long Island and feature them in professional productions on Long Island and in
New York City.

Received his formal training at the State Choreographic Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria. He came to the USA at the age of 17 and was awarded a medal at the New York International Ballet Competition in Licoln Center. After a brief return to Bulgaria he returned to New York and performed in Lumiere Ballet's first project: an original rendition of Menotti's "The Unicorn, the Gorgon and the Manticore" choreographed and staged by Svetlana Caton-Noble. He became a founding principal male dancer and co-director of Lumiere Ballet.
He continued his training with Vladimir Dokudovsky at the New York Conservatory of Dance. He performed in more than 20 states as a principal guest artist and choreographer. He joined Ballet Arizona, Tulsa Ballet, Ballet Arlington, Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Omaha Theater Ballet. In addition to his exceptional dance technique, his superior partnering skills and noted choreographic talent gained him international acclaim. His works include Romeo and Juliet,

HIs own released Ballet CD is a favorite in schools in America and abroad.
