Lumiere Ballet Graded Curriculum
Students are placed by audition
Level Uniform * Descrition
Ballet 7
(Ages 14+)
Black Students may qualify for more demanding and challenging roles on point, also for extended training and for Pas de Deux. Students take 4-8 classes weekly.
Ballet 6
(Ages 12+)
Burgundy This level may require two or more years. Point work is reaching the performance level. Students take 4-6 classes per week. Minimum requirement is 4 classes.
Ballet 5
(Ages 11+)
Navy Students study two or three years at this level. All students are on point. Choreographic work is introduced. Students take 4-5 classes per week. Minimum 3 weekly.
Ballet 3 -4
(Ages 9+)
Spruce Students are taught a fully comprehensive class. Ballet vocabulary is given in its completeness. Point is taught at this level. Students take 3-5 classes per week.
Ballet 2
(Ages 7+)
Pink Students , ages 7 and older with basic placement may enter this level and continue as long as needed.
Ballet I
(Ages 6+)
Black Physical discipline and focus is implemented with basic positions and excercises at the barre and creative dance combinations at the center
Dress Up and Dance
(Ages 3 1/2 - 5)
Pink This course provides a valuable exposure to classical music, develops rhythm and coordination
